The Honorable Chris Carney is a former U.S. Congressman who represented Pennsylvania's 10th Congressional District from 2007 to 2011. Congressman Carney holds a PhD in Political Science and is known for his background in national security, having served in the United States Naval Reserve. Attaining the rank of Commander, he was a combat Mission Operation Commander for the MQ-1 Predator, the MQ-9 Reaper, and the RQ-4 Global Hawk Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance platforms. Currently, he serves as a Senior Policy Advisor at Nossaman LLP in Washington, D.C., where he leverages his extensive experience in government, defense, and intelligence to advise clients on complex regulatory and legislative issues.
Dr Ryan Weed
Nuclear Scientist and Test Pilot, and Co-Founder, Aerofuse
Ryan Weed is a nuclear physicist with a diverse background in academia, government, and the private sector. He holds a PhD in positron physics from the Australian National University and is a graduate of the US Air Force Test Pilot School. Dr. Weed is a former Defense Innovation Unit program manager and a former nuclear scientist at Draper Laboratory. Currently, he is the co-founder of Aerofuse, a company pioneering fusion propulsion systems for aircraft that cut emissions and extend range.
